Just a small part of 75 mile beach. In the distance, you can make out the Maheno.

This is Whitehaven beach. We had a barbecue here and generally just relaxed, no basked, in the sun. Need I say any more?
The barbecue attracted no fewer than three of these lizards. Each one was nearly 3 feet long.

In places the water was incredibly shallow, as you can see.
