Sunday 12th September - Ko Phi Phi to Phuket

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I finally succumbed to the heat. I think we've had about four weeks where the temperature hasn't dropped below 30 even at night. We arrived in Phuket and I collapsed and slept for a while and w did virtually nothing else.

Saturday 18th September - Bangkok

We went to see the bridge over the river Kwai today. A long trip, bit strange, but nice. Then we wandered round a market and finally got to sleep.

Bangkok - Ladyboy central!

Likened by some to Amsterdam because of its red light district, Bangkok is an interesting place.

Friday 1st October - Siem Reap,Cambodia, to Bangkok,Thailand.

A long, long day on a bus, a possibly broken toe, a miserable taxi driver and a long walk. But nothing sleeping for a week wouldn't cure.

If "One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble", what will two nights do to us?
